The CITL has been established to encourage innovative and effective teaching and learning at Royal Thimphu College. The Centre embraces a contemporary approach to quality education by applying evidence-based research, promoting reflection to improve teaching methods, and fostering collaboration between teaching and non-teaching staff to support professional development.

With a student-centered approach, the Centre facilitates workshops and training programs for faculty members, helping them learn, revise, and enhance their teaching methodologies and classroom management strategies.
