Dr. Kezang SherabDr. Kezang Sherab

Dean, AAD

Dr. Kezang Sherab has a PhD from UNE, Australia, and an MEd from StFXU, Canada. He teaches Physical Education, Research methodology, and provides Professional Development to school teachers, university academics, and youth groups. He has published articles, reviewed manuscripts, examined theses, and led consultancies. He is the Editor-in-Chief of RABSEL, the Centre for Educational Research and Development Journal, and the founder of the Journal of Educational Action Research. He has won many projects and convened seminars.

Mr. Jigme TashiMr. Jigme Tashi

Associate Dean, AAD

Jigme Tashi completed his MSc in Mathematics from Lovely Professional University in 2014 and began his career at the Royal Thimphu College in the same year as an Associate Lecturer. His passion and commitment towards teaching led him to take on the role of a Programme Leader, where he oversaw curriculum development and student engagement, contributing significantly to the growth of the programme. Throughout his career at RTC, he has demonstrated a keen ability to adapt to evolving educational needs, guiding students to success while also taking on critical administrative responsibilities. His leadership in the BCom programme enabled him to understand both the academic and operational aspects of higher education.

In addition to his roles at RTC, Jigme Tashi has expanded his academic influence beyond the college by serving as an External Examiner for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme at Gedu College of Business Studies.

Ms. VanlallawmkimiMs. Vanlallawmkimi

Associate Professor

Ms. Vanlallawmkimi is an Associate Professor in the English Studies programme at RTC. She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English from India and has received RTC's 'Excellence in Active Student-Centred Teaching' award.

Dr. Dolma Choden RoderDr. Dolma Choden Roder

Programme Leader of BA Anthropology / Associate Professor

Dr. Dolma Choden Roder holds a Ph.D. in Socio-cultural Anthropology from Arizona State University. Her research focuses on gender and education in Bhutan. She has been recognized for her contributions to student-centered teaching.

Mr. Madhav VermaMr. Madhav Verma

Programme Leader of Business / Associate Professor

Mr. Madhav Verma is the Programme Leader of Business at RTC and an Associate Professor. He has extensive experience in the field and is actively involved in course development and teaching.

MS. PEMA EDENMS. PEMA EDEN

Dentist / Senior Lecturer

Ms. Pema Eden completed her Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she had an opportunity to work as a temporary lecturer and demonstrator at the same university in the Department of Oral and Maxillo Facial Surgery. She was with the Department for almost two years during which time she also carried out research on 'clinicopathological study of oncocytoma of salivary origin' and was able to enhance her teaching skills.
