Dean, Academic Affairs
Dr. Shivaraj Bhattarai heads the Academic Affairs of the college. Prior to joining RTC in 2008 as the Founding Dean, he was the Dean of Academic Affairs at Sherubtse College. He holds an MSC in Bio-Science and a Ph.D. in Limnology. With several years of teaching, research, and administrative experience, he is involved in the administration and management of the college's academics. For his long and dedicated public service, he received the prestigious Life Time Service Award (Gold) from His Majesty the King in 2013.

Dean of Development and External Relations Department
Chencho Lhamu brings over 14 years of experience in civil service and seven years in the civil society sector. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. She has worked extensively in shaping educational policy, developing curricula, and empowering marginalized groups. Her leadership role as the Executive Director of the Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy focused on fostering critical thinking and promoting inclusive policy discussions.
Associate Dean of Academic Affairs
Ms. Ngawang Yangden joined RTC in 2010 and has since served as the Programme Leader for the Business Programme. She holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce and a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education. Her interests include hiking, learning new things, and traveling.
Programme Leader of BA English Studies / Professor
Ms. Sonam Deki has a B.A. in English, a post-graduate certificate in Education, and a Master’s in Social Science from the University of Newcastle. She has taught at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels and has worked on developing English curricula for schools.
Associate Professor
Ms. Vanlallawmkimi is an Associate Professor in the English Studies programme at RTC. She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English from India and has received RTC's 'Excellence in Active Student-Centred Teaching' award.
Programme Leader of BA Anthropology / Associate Professor
Dr. Dolma Choden Roder holds a Ph.D. in Socio-cultural Anthropology from Arizona State University. Her research focuses on gender and education in Bhutan. She has been recognized for her contributions to student-centered teaching.
Programme Leader of Business / Associate Professor
Mr. Madhav Verma is the Programme Leader of Business at RTC and an Associate Professor. He has extensive experience in the field and is actively involved in course development and teaching.
