Need-based professional development sessions are designed to support departments and individual faculty in addressing specific teaching and learning priorities. These sessions are structured as a series of 1-hour sessions spread across the semester, therefore allowing participants to engage with the content over time and apply what they learn between sessions.
Topics for these sessions are chosen in consultation with the program leaders, either from a list of topics suggested by CITL or based on needs identified by the department itself. This flexible, responsive format ensures that the sessions are relevant, practical, and aligned with the program-level teaching contexts.
