Ms. Kencho Pelzom is the Coordinator of the Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL). She has a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Warsaw, Poland. She worked as a lecturer for the Political Science programme with Sherubtse, Royal University of Bhutan for 11 years prior to joining her current position at Royal Thimphu College. Her area of research interests are higher education teaching learning and democratic theorizing. She is passionate about working with tutors to find teaching-learning strategies that enhance meaningful learning culture.

Mr. Kelzang Tentsho is the Programme Leader of the Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL). He holds a Master of Science in Research Methodology from Prince of Songkla University in Thailand, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Samtse College of Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Saint Francis Xavier University in Canada. He has nearly a decade of teaching experience in Bhutan. Fluent in Sharchop, English, and Dzongkha, he also has a foundational grasp of Hindi and Nepali. His personal interests include traveling and playing football.

Mr. Jigme Wangchuk is currently the Programme Officer at the CITL. He recently graduated from the Royal Thimphu College with Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology. He is passionate about research and his research interest includes pre-Buddhist beliefs and practices and how they shape and inform the everyday life of people.

Ms. Pratika Pradhan is a passionate educator who also received her Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from Samtse College of Education. She has completed her MA in Development Studies from the Brac Institute of Governance and Development under Brac University and her BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the Asian University for Women, both in Bangladesh, on full scholarship from the universities. She is keen on exploring different pedagogies and approaches to enhance learner-centric teaching. This is one of the main reasons she has joined CITL through the CITL- faculty collaboration.
